Transcending Limitations, Overcoming Barriers

Transcending Limitations, Overcoming Barriers.

Our ultimate goal is to use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to empower parents, caregivers and other staff in guiding each individual to achieving their potential.

Next Steps

Upon referral, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) A licensed BCBA will meet with the individual and family members, staff, and/or caregivers, involved in their day-to-day care to begin a comprehensive and detailed skills and behavioral assessment from which an individualized treatment plan will be developed. During the assessment process, the Behavior Analyst reviews relevant records, conducts interviews, observes, and assesses the individual to understand any and all concerns regarding behavior management, communication, and social skills. All gathered information is used to develop an individualized behavior treatment plan with goals and objectives specifically designed to meet the needs of your loved one. Every client has different needs, and your Behavior Analyst will recommend a custom plan on how to proceed with ongoing therapy.

ABA Therapy Initial Assessment and Treatment Planning

When ongoing authorization is secured from the insurance carrier you will be contacted to begin programming. Your Behavior Analyst will follow out the agreed-upon treatment plan, provide monitoring to ensure protocols are occurring, intervention standards are being met, and most importantly, progress is being made. All services will be maintained through session notes, data collection and analysis, close monitoring of goal progress and mastery, and reassessment to always have the most up-to-date goals in place.

Ongoing Services

Training parents and caregivers is an integral part of a successful treatment package. It is necessary for family members to understand and implement the strategies applied during therapy sessions. The BCBA will provide training and model to show family members how to use applied behavior analysis with their loved ones. We recognize that a team approach is important to help our clients' progress. Parent, staff, and other team members consultations occur on a regular basis and our the BCBA is available to attend meetings and collaborate with other service providers.
